ForwardPart 3: Evolving Roles in Alzheimer’s Disease Management: Team-Based Care in the Modern Age of Disease-Modifying Therapy
Due to the growing complexity in the management of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), patient care falls under a wide umbrella of clinical team members across specialties, increasing the complexity of disease management. As successful team-based care was a challenge even prior to the introduction of biomarkers and disease-modifying therapies to clinical practice, individual team member recognition of and proficiency in their changing roles and responsibilities is critical to ensure new strategies are executed effectively. As such, this activity aims to outline the newest considerations in AD management and how they are best integrated into an already complicated and multi-faceted treatment paradigm.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for general practice and internal medicine physicians, neurologists, geriatricians, radiologists, psychiatrists, advanced practice professionals, registered nurses, and pharmacists involved in the diagnosis and management of AD.
